Retail Customer Service Specialist

Job Description

This position requires an individual who can provide exceptional customer service in accordance with company standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate cash register precisely and accurately handle money and other types of payment received for products sold.
• Perform the following service transactions in accordance with company policy:
  • Credit card transactions
  • Manufacturer coupon redemption
  • Vendor check-in
  • Alcohol, tobacco, and lottery sales
• Check identification for alcohol, tobacco, and lottery products according to company policy.
• Actively participate in all sales promotions and other campaigns.
• Review and adhere to all city, county, state, and federal laws affecting store operations.
• Ensure that the store is free of litter and spills and that all equipment is sanitized and free of dirt, as well as ensuring that all equipment is in working condition.
• Maintain a neat and clean store inside and out.
• Sweep floors and spot mop as well as clean mop water as needed and before changing shifts.
• Ensure restroom is spot checked often and restocked when needed.
• Perform regular cleaning of counter surfaces, store equipment, trash (inside and out), floors, and all other duties as assigned by the Store Manager while using appropriate cleaning/safety equipment.

Bonus:

One-time bonus pay of $1000 paid upon completing 6 months or 1000 hours.

Requirements:

• Clean criminal record.
• 18 years or older.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Applicant must have a vehicle as there is no public transport in the area.
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
