Position: MPD Operator

Reports To: MPD Supervisor
Looking to grow your career in the oilfield? As an MPD Operator, you'll play a key role in supporting Managed Pressure Drilling operations at the well site. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work with specialized equipment, gain valuable field experience, and be part of a strong, safety-focused team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with rig-up and rig-down of MPD equipment
- Support operation of MPD systems during drilling activities
- Monitor pressures and fluid flow, reporting any issues promptly
- Assist with installation, removal, and pressure testing of equipment
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and cleaning
- Complete daily reports, logs, and checklists accurately
- Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety meetings ????
- Work closely with supervisors, rig crews, and team members
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of oilfield or industrial experience preferred
- MPD or pressure control experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to travel and work rotational schedules
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
- Comfortable working in outdoor and physically demanding conditions
- Must be able to stand, bend, and work extended hours as needed
