Position Summary:

We're looking for a great Parts/Shop Helper to support the daily operations of the collision centre by assisting with parts handling, shop organization, vehicle movement, cleanliness, and general support duties for the repair team.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing auto body parts and materials

· Check incoming parts for accuracy and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items

· Label, sort, and stage parts by repair order or vehicle

· Deliver parts and materials to technicians as needed

· Help return unused, damaged, or incorrect parts in accordance with shop procedures

· Keep the parts room, storage areas, and work areas clean and organized

· Maintain overall shop cleanliness, including sweeping floors, removing garbage, and keeping workspaces tidy

· Assist with moving vehicles in and around the shop as required

· Help maintain a clean and organized lot and parking area

· Support body technicians, painters, estimators, and office staff with day-to-day shop tasks

· Assist with inventory counts and stock organization

· Ensure tools, equipment, and supplies are put away properly after use

· Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures

· Perform other shop support duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Previous shop or automotive experience is an asset, but not required

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time working in a shop environment
  • Frequently required to be outdoors moving vehicles
  • Able to perform physically demanding work
  • Position involves standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 30 lbs
