Job Details:
A Project Manager specializes in oversees electronic security systems, responsible for both the technical and costing of the jobs. Reporting both to management and stakeholders on progress and deliverables. Being responsible for a team of varying size on projects will be required including coordinating sub-contractors and sub-trades. Optional site review and system audits including providing reports to our sales team and system design specifications on an as needed basis.

ADSS established in 2004 as a security system integrator originating from the Montreal area. We are specialized in the area of card access and video surveillance. We have since expanded into the Ottawa, Toronto, Atlantic Canada. Currently a team of 30+ and continue to expand and grow each year. We support large enterprise security solutions including but not limited to: LenelS2, Feenics, Avigilon, AMAG, Automatic Systems, Milestone, Wavestore, South West Microwave & many more.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management :
Ø Managing Projects (Schedules, Deliverables, Costs, Resources & Change Orders)
Ø Site meetings and stakeholder reports
Ø Overseeing ADSS technical teams, sub-contractors and sub-trades
Ø Developing project schedules that align with both stakeholders and general contractors milestones.
Ø Working in operations and warehouse to track and estimate start dates of projects
Ø Initiating kickoff documentation and close outs as needed
Ø Collecting and managing project documentation
Ø Reviewing and following up on project material lead times and if needed alternative
Ø Providing project invoicing updates to administration team on long term contracts
Customer Communication :
Ø Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders regarding project requests and job status
Ø Receive and log incoming calls and emails for all project related activities
Ø Provide clear communication to customers regarding project kickoffs, delays, or follow-ups
Work Order & Documentation Management
Ø Following up with operations, technical staff and sub-contractors on updates, and closing projects in the service management system
Ø Ensure job details, notes, and technician reports are accurately recorded thru the life of the project
Ø Reviewing job costing reports, contracts, and maintenance agreements within project scope, ensure handover to operations once projects are closed.
Operational Support :
Ø Approving sub-contractors' invoices and changes based on original plan verses actual
Ø Working directly with sales for change orders and scope creep.
Ø Track project completion, outstanding issues, and follow-up on resolutions
Ø Assist with tracking equipment related to projects
Ø Other duties as required
Compliance & Quality :
Ø Ensure project activities align with company procedures and security industry standards
Ø Help maintain accurate documentation for audits, billing, and compliance purposes
Requirements :
Ø Dynamic, motivated, versatile, proud, and thorough
Ø Work well in a team environment, mentor less experienced team members
Ø Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
Ø Min. 10 years project management
Ø Official PMP Designation is considered an asset
Ø Experience in electronic security systems or general contracting best practices is considered an asset
Ø G Class driver's license
Ø Ability to obtain a clean criminal background check and other Security Clearances.
Ø Bilingual in French & English is considered as asset

Work environment: Hybrid – in office, on jobsites and in office as required.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm, flexible based on project assignment.
Medical & Dental Plan: ADSS covers 75% of cost of program
RSSP/DPSP Plan: ADSS will match 50% of an employee's contribution at a maximum of 10% of the employee's salary.
Continuing Education and Development: ADSS is proud to help employee's grow their career thru inhouse and external trainings. ADSS will reimburse employee's expenses for books and enrollment based on passing the courses.
Salary range based on experience: $80,000 to $100,000.00
Vacation: 3 weeks, negotiable based on employee's needs & experience
Vehicle Allowance: $600.00
Cell Phone Allowance: $70.00
