Job Details:
Our client is a steel tubing manufacturer serving diverse industries across North America, tailoring sales and quality approaches to each sector. The Project Engineer is involved in customer service, quoting, project management, and order entry for new and existing customers. They will need to have the ability to communicate with various stakeholders, be detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Engineering and Production teams to validate customer product feasibility.
- Send RFQ and work with suppliers to select the best one for the outsourced services.
- Develop technical and price quotations.
- Manage the new program launches, including participating in program kick-off meetings, coordinating the prototype development, and effectively communicating with the customers.
- Ensure a smooth hand-off from the sales cycle to mass production launch, providing all key resources, such as product drawings and specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Engineering or Business undergraduate degree or higher
- Experience in the automotive or metal industry
- Familiar with steel manufacturing processes
- Ability to read blueprints
- Understanding of the North American steel standards
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to engage clients, build trust, and develop strong working relationships
- Good organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
