Overview

A growing Vancouver litigation boutique seeking an associate with approximately 3.5 to 7 years of experience who is looking for challenging work, substantial responsibility, and long-term growth.

• Flexible work arrangements. Lawyers frequently work remotely and while travelling. Attendance at the office is encouraged but generally required only when collaboration, client meetings, or other in-person responsibilities make attendance beneficial.

• Business development mentorship. The firm provides associates with substantial work and, for those interested, practical guidance and hand-holding on developing referral sources, building client relationships, and growing a successful long-term practice.

• Periodic overseas firm trips and other opportunities to strengthen relationships within the team.

Qualifications

• 3.5 to 6 years of experience at a reputable law firm.

• Membership in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.

• Above-average academic performance in law school.

• Strong analytical, advocacy, and legal writing skills.
