THE ROLE:

We are currently hiring Light General Labourers for a food production facility located in Hamilton, ON. This role involves packaging and preparing meat products for shipment in a refrigerated production environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

Package and wrap meat products according to company standards
Label and prepare products for shipping and distribution
Remove filled containers from conveyor lines and place into boxes or cartons
Feed packaging materials into machines when required
Ensure packaging quality and product accuracy
Inspect products for quality or packaging defects
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and production areas
Assist machine operators and production staff as needed
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
Perform general labour duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Comfortable working with chicken, beef, and pork products
Ability to work in a cold/refrigerated environment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Able to stand for extended periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong communication skills
Food production, packaging, or manufacturing experience is an asset
