Job Details:
Design, analyze, and develop custom industrial equipment and components. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for demanding applications. Work on projects from concept through manufacturing phases, while expanding your technical expertise in design, analysis, and product development.
Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks.
- Perform engineering analyses, including stress, fatigue, thermal, and tolerance evaluations, to support design performance and reliability.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and manufacturable.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute technical recommendations throughout project development.
- Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Registered as, or eligible to register as, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO); progress toward P.Eng. designation is considered an asset.
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or industrial equipment engineering.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
- Experience performing engineering analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), is preferred.
