Work Type: Permanent

Salary: $70,000- $90,000

Vacancy: Existing vacancy

This Project Coordinator role is ideal for a professional who enjoys a fast-paced construction environment, solving coordination and project execution challenges, and working within commercial, institutional, and light industrial project settings. The right person will recognize this role as a natural next step based on their current experience in project coordination or a junior project management capacity within a general contractor environment.

Why This Role

This role offers strong career progression within a growing construction team, exposure to diverse project types across commercial, institutional, and light industrial sectors, and the chance to develop project management and coordination expertise. Unlike similar roles, this position focuses on end-to-end project involvement—from pre-construction to close-out—providing hands-on experience across the full lifecycle.

The Role: Project Coordinator

In this role, you will spend most of your time supporting project coordination, managing documentation, and facilitating communication across stakeholders. You will work closely with senior project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers and be responsible for delivering outcomes related to project tracking, scheduling, and documentation accuracy. This role balances administrative coordination with active project support, providing clarity on expectations from day one.

What You'll Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or junior Project Manager role within a General Contractor environment

  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field

Benefits & Environment

  • Benefits for this role include competitive compensation, comprehensive health and dental coverage, professional development opportunities, a gas allowance, and free parking, along with a collaborative working environment that supports growth, organization, and strong team relationships.
