Allied Universal is currently seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will embody our company's core values while overseeing the delivery of high-quality security services. This role is responsible for supervising site personnel, coordinating daily operations, and acting as a key liaison between the client, Operations Manager, and security staff. The Security Shift Supervisor will provide leadership through coaching, recognition, and appropriate disciplinary actions within established guidelines.

Employment Type: Full-Time (Rotational Shifts)
Shift Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Compensation: $25.44 per hour

• Experience using security management systems such as C-CURE or Pro-Watch
• Post-secondary education in Police Foundations, Criminal Justice, Law and Security, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence
• Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with site-specific systems and wireless communication tools
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency or high-pressure situations

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a security supervisor or a related field

• Valid Ontario Security License

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (up to 40 hours per week)

• Open availability for rotational shifts, including days, nights, and weekends

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Supervise and coordinate site staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality services

• Serve as the primary liaison between the client, Operations Manager, and security personnel

• Enforce contract standards and company policies

• Administer site-specific safety programs, including hazard awareness and safe driving practices where applicable

• Provide coaching, performance feedback, recognition, and discipline as required

• Utilize scheduling and billing systems to manage operations and generate reports (e.g., scheduling activity, training reports)

• Participate in unemployment hearings when necessary

• Ensure compliance with Allied Universal policies, procedures, and directives

• Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., cold, heat, rain, snow)

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 lbs
