The Role
Step into a role where no two days look the same. Normac is looking for a motivated Business Development & Marketing Coordinator, residing in Vancouver to support our growing team across Canada. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and wants to build hands-on experience in business development and marketing. Youll play a key role in helping us strengthen client relationships, expand into new markets, and support company-wide initiatives.

Required Education
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Marketing or Business diploma, or equivalent education and experience, considered
Job Responsibilities
Business Development Support
- Help prepare and customize client proposals for Canada.
- Research potential clients, new markets, and industry trends.
- Support outreach campaigns and follow-up activities.
- Prepare sample reports and materials for prospective clients.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and coordinating ongoing check-ins.
- Track proposals, wins/losses, and active projects with key client groups.
- Share market insights, costing information, and industry updates internally.
Marketing, Communications & Events
- Coordinate email campaigns and client communications.
- Help create and update marketing materials and presentations (Canva).
- Support webinars, lunch-and-learns, and educational sessions.
- Assist with association involvement and membership tracking.
- Provide administrative support for tradeshows and events, including registration and logistics.
- Help coordinate event materials, swag, and team attendance.
- Attend client and industry events as needed.
Administration & Internal Support
- Support expense submissions and administrative tracking.
- Assist with updates to the website, job postings, and internal documents.
- Support internal newsletters and company-wide communications.
- Provide general administrative support to the Business Development team.
- Additional duties as required.
Skills and Qualification Requirements
- Knowledge of how to build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Positive, high-energy, professional attitude with a strong desire to satisfy clients' needs.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities, along with strong presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting targets and goals.
- Self-starter with a strong drive to succeed, capable of working autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook, and similar platforms.
- Experience using CRM software (an asset).
- Graphic design experience (an asset).
Additional Requirements
- Must have a dependable motor vehicle to complete duties and responsibilities. All driving for business purposes will be reimbursed as per Normacs km reimbursement policy.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods of time.

Salary Range: $55,000 to $60,000 depending on experience
