About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Concrete Pump Operator. Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. You will be responsible for driving and operating a Mack Concrete Pump Truck with a 38m Putzmeister Boom Pump, to various job sites, ensuring the precise and safe delivery of concrete, while maintaining high-quality service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and pump are in top condition.
  • Safely drive the pump truck to residential and commercial construction sites.
  • Assess site conditions and safely set up outriggers and boom placement.
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure the pump is thoroughly cleaned at the end of each work day.
  • Complete daily logs and safety documentation in compliance with Alberta Construction Safety Association Regulations.
  • Able to work flexible hours with varying start & finish times, including weekends

Requirements:

  • Licensing - Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement.
  • Experience – 1-2 years of experience operating concrete pumps.
  • Trainee Conditions – 3 years minimum Class 3 experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Physical Fitness - Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various Alberta weather conditions and on their own.
  • Drivers Abstract - A clean 3-year commercial driver's abstract.
  • Certifications - First Aid, WHMIS are considered strong assets.
  • Be a team player, mentally alert and energetic.
  • Have strong organizational skills.
  • Willing to learn all concrete pumping functions.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Must have own reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
  • Successful candidates may be subject to Drug and Alcohol testing.
