About the Opportunity:
We are a stealth-mode startup based in Metro Vancouver developing a disruptive, proprietary technology at the intersection of advanced materials, IoT, and real-time mobile data tracking. Our product introduces a highly unique application for sensor-embedded fabrics and smart apparel.

We are seeking a Technical Co-Founder / CTO to fully own our technical execution. You do not need to personally possess every single technical skill on day one, but you must have the resourcefulness to figure out the solution to our entire technical ecosystem. If a specific layer of our stack is outside your personal wheelhouse, you know exactly how and where to source the right specialized talent, contractors, or partners to handle it.

What You Will Do:

• Own the Technical Ecosystem: Architect the roadmap connecting specialized fabric sensors, hardware microcontrollers, wireless data (BLE), and a mobile application.
• Problem-Solve & Source Talent: Figure out the engineering solutions, and leverage your network to find the right people to build what you cannot build yourself.
• Drive Strategy: Lead the initial prototyping phases, secure intellectual property, and eventually represent our technology to investors. Throughout this whole process, we will work as a team.

What We Are Looking For:

• The Master Orchestrator: A technical leader who knows how to find answers to complex engineering roadblocks and map out execution from scratch.
• Hardware/Software Familiarity: A solid understanding of data streaming from physical hardware to mobile platforms, and a clear idea of how to source specialized engineering talent.
• Local Presence: Located in the Greater Vancouver area for local networking, strategy, and in-person collaboration.

We are targeting a massive, underserved global market where current technology is clunky and outdated. You aren't just an employee writing code or soldering boards for someone else. You will fully own the technical architecture and build a department from scratch. You are partnering with a founder who respects your technical domain and focuses completely on the business, strategy, and market side. We will move fast, test ideas quickly, and make decisions without red tape.
