Print Production Associate

People Store Staffing is looking to hire a Print Production Associate for our client in Toronto, Ontario.

Monday to Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $20.93 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate digital press equipment.
• Operate standard finishing equipment (paper cutters, bindery, laminating, and drill)
• Point of contact to receive customer requests, provide estimates, schedule, and track production
• Interact with customers as needed for job query and answering questions
• Perform basic quality inspection before, during and after output of each production run
• Track and store jobs as customer requires for reuse at a future date
• Maintain reporting logs and information for billing purposes
• Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product
• Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels
• Problem solve basic issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements
• Other tasks as assigned

Required skills:

• 6 Months to 1 year Customer Service Experience is required
• Previous Digital Printing Experience is required
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
• Post high school technology training or experience (Preferred)
• Experience with Fiery Digital Print Servers or similar (i.e. Command Workstation)
• Ability to perform minor pre-press functions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for up to 80% of your day
• Ability and willingness to learn and develop
• Good communications skills (oral and written)
• Fast-paced environment subject to numerous priority changes
• Intermediate use of MS Office, Adobe and other relevant software
