Pediatric Home Care Nurse - North Bay / Callander, Ontario
Full-Time & Part-Time & Causal Opportunities Available
Living Grace Home Care & Wellness Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable, and confident Nurses to join a growing pediatric home care team supporting a stable but medically complex infant transitioning home from hospital.
This is a unique opportunity to provide one-on-one nursing care in a family-centered environment while making a meaningful difference in a child's life.
Pay: CA$36.50 - CA$44.00 per hour
Schedule
- Overnight Shifts Available
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
Responsibilities
- Tracheostomy care
- Respiratory monitoring and support
- G-tube feeds and medication administration
- Suctioning as required
- Vital signs monitoring
- Ongoing assessment and documentation
- Medical supply management and organization
- Collaboration with family and healthcare team
- Family education and support as appropriate
- Provide overnight nursing care and clinical monitoring
Qualifications Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Current CPR Certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Ability to work independently in a home care environment
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Assets
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Experience with tracheostomy care
- Experience with respiratory support and monitoring
- Experience with G-tube feeds and medication administration
Trach, respiratory, and G-tube experience are assets but not required. Family-provided training will be available for the right candidate.
