Job Details:
Located in Calgary, we are looking for someone that has experience with hand tools and is eager to learn new things in assembly.
What You'll Do:- Use hand and power tools to assemble mechanical and electrical components
- Follow simple diagrams and instructions to complete builds
- Bolt, screw, press, and fit parts together
- Perform basic product testing
- Assist with shipping and receiving, packing, labeling, and organizing parts and materials (no forklift required)
- Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized
- Support and collaborate with a small team
- Set up and adjust manufacturing equipment such as laser welders, crimpers, and measuring tools
- Electrical and mechanical assembly techniques
- Read technical drawings and materials lists
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve on the job
- Advanced testing methods and continuous improvement practices
- Comfortable using hand tools and eager to learn assembly
- Strong English reading, writing, and comprehension
- Positive attitude and team mindset
- Reliable with excellent attendance (critical in a small team)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to grow
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Previous assembly or mechanical experience is an asset but not required
