This Service Manager opportunity is ideal for someone whose career has progressed from hands-on Technician to leading people, managing operations and driving profitability.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading and mentoring a team of Plumbing and Refrigeration Technicians
- Managing daily service operations, scheduling, and dispatch
- Overseeing job costing, invoicing, budgeting, and department performance
- Growing the service division through client retention and new maintenance contracts
- Providing technical support to Techs and troubleshooting when required
- Identify operational improvements to increase efficiency and service quality
- Assist with hiring and training of new technicians
What You Bring
- 15+ years of experience in the trade, including on the tools and leadership combined
- Journeyperson certification in Plumbing or Refrigeration (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Strong service management or operations leadership experience
- Proven ability to manage technicians, customers, and financial performance
- Solid understanding of job costing, service operations, and profitability
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and service management software
