Press Assistant

We have a full-time, long-term job opportunity in Scarborough for a press assistant! Work with a local company!

Pay Rate: $18/hour (paid weekly every Friday by direct deposit)

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist Press Operators and Rewind/Inspectors in the production and finishing of customer orders.
• Prepare dockets by trimming and mounting printing plates.
• Retrieve raw materials, dies, and tooling.
• Keep additives full (e.g., acetate, alcohol, reducer, etc.) and press-side supplies stocked.
• Clean and inspect blades, press tooling, ink stations, and plates.

Shift Options:

• Afternoons: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
