Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced food processing environment. This role involves supporting various stages of food production, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and sanitary workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a keen eye for detail to contribute to efficient operations and uphold food safety regulations. This role is a temporary to permanent position.

Hours of operation: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM (shifts are typically 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)

Rate of pay: $17.50 per hour

Duties:

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety guidelines to ensure product integrity.
• Conduct quality checks on products, ensuring they meet specified standards and specifications.
• Assist in food processing activities, including ingredient handling and portioning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, adhering to all sanitation and safety standards.
• Support team members in meeting daily production goals while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for food products and materials, including temperature control as required.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory and quality control purposes.
