Must be available to work all shifts.
Duties include:
- Provide customer service support in a transportation environment.
- Investigate and solve daily delivery, inventory, equipment, employees, and customer issues.
- Sequence and plan daily routing and all related activities, determine daily workloads, and allocate drivers accordingly.
- Schedule repairs and preventive maintenance service on equipment on a regular basis.
- Prepare manifests and delivery trip logs for the warehouse.
- Ensure that emergency orders are delivered within expected timeframes.
- Complete and process all required logs, databases, and driver paperwork.
- Assist the Logistics Supervisor or Logistics Manager in several areas, such as quality control for driver administration, payroll, etc.
- Assist with accident and incident reports, as required.
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
