We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid DZ license, strong driving skills, and the ability to operate the electric riding walkie when necessary. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles with DZ licensing to deliver freight across designated routes.
- Load and unload freight using class #3 certification or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Must have previous tailgate experience.
- Assist with the loading and securing of freight to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if required, ensuring minimal downtime.
Requirements
- Valid DZ license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus.
