Full job description:
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare vendor cheques on timely basis.
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, GL reconciliations, and accruals, T4, Year end, Receivable and Payable.
- Perform variance analysis and prepare detailed financial reports for management.
Qualifications
- 5 - 10years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Detailed knowledge of QuickBooks
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements and managing month-end close process
- Experience working with third-party vendors
- Must be fluent in Tamil and English
