Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong expertise in accounting software and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Account reconciliation processes to verify the integrity of financial data.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, or potential issues requiring attention.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, and other relevant platforms to streamline financial operations.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures efficiently.
- Support strategic planning by providing insightful financial analysis and forecasting.
Requirements
- 5-10 Years of experience in Accounting and Finance experience
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, and other relevant platforms.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting processes.
- Strong skills in account reconciliation and account analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred; professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
