Project Lead - Hospitality

Description of the company:

Our client is a full-service interior design studio that works on luxury hospitality spaces. Their portfolio runs across hotels, residential, and lifestyle destinations in a number of countries, and they've built a strong reputation in the high-end market. The team is made up of seasoned designers, and people we've placed there have pointed to the collaborative way they run projects and the room to take on more responsibility as they grow.

Why is this role open:

A wave of new international projects, plus steady growth across the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Run luxury hospitality design projects from first concept through to completion, owning the delivery
• Be the main point of contact for clients, taking what they need and shaping it into a clear design direction
• Build and manage project budgets and schedules, and keep things on track
• Lead the design team day to day, guiding the designers on it and keeping the work moving

Must-haves:

• A degree in interior design or a related field
• 5+ years in hospitality interior design
• Experience managing people and clients
• A strong design sense backed by a creative portfolio
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp

Nice-to-haves:

• Some project management experience under your belt
• A clear communicator who works well with different people

Work style: Hybrid, two days in office

Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000

Compensation Disclosure

Compensation for all roles Axis recruits for is multi-faceted and based on a range of factors including experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
