About the Role
The Growth Marketing Specialist will play a key role in driving demand generation, sales enablement, marketing performance, and operational efficiency. You will support paid media campaigns, build prospect lists, conduct market research, analyze funnel performance, develop lead nurture programs, and deliver actionable insights that help improve growth across the business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable working in spreadsheets, CRM systems, advertising platforms, reporting dashboards, and modern AI tools.
As an AI-first organization, we're looking for someone who actively incorporates AI into their daily workflows and understands how modern AI tools can enhance research, content development, analysis, reporting, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Marketing & Demand Generation
- Support execution and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, Google, and other channels
- Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve CTR, CPC, CPL, and conversion rates
- Assist in developing landing pages, lead magnets, and conversion-focused marketing initiatives
- Support organic and paid growth initiatives across multiple channels
Lead Generation & Sales Support
- Build targeted prospect lists aligned with Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP)
- Research companies, decision-makers, and market opportunities
- Support outbound sales initiatives through list development and data enrichment
- Maintain CRM data quality and assist with pipeline management activities
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify target accounts and growth opportunities
Email Marketing & Lead Nurture
- Build and optimize email nurture sequences for prospects and customers
- Support lead scoring, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing programs
- Analyze email performance and recommend improvements to engagement and conversion metrics
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct research on target industries, competitors, and market trends
- Monitor competitor messaging, positioning, pricing, and product developments
- Develop competitive intelligence reports to support sales and marketing strategy
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
- Analyze marketing, website, pipeline, and revenue performance
- Identify growth opportunities and areas of funnel leakage
- Provide recommendations to improve conversion rates and customer acquisition
- Track and report on key SaaS growth metrics including: Website traffic, Lead generation, MQL conversion rates, Pipeline creation, Customer acquisition, and Self-serve product performance
AI-Powered Marketing Operations
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, reporting, content creation, analysis, and campaign execution
- Use tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI platforms to improve productivity and decision making
- Build repeatable AI-assisted workflows for marketing, sales, and reporting activities
- Utilize AI to synthesize large volumes of information into actionable insights and recommendations
- Continuously explore new AI tools and techniques that improve efficiency, accuracy, and output quality
- Demonstrate familiarity with Claude Projects, Claude Workspaces, and Claude Code to support research, analysis, workflow development, and operational efficiency
- Understand workflow architecture and be able to map, document, and optimize processes across marketing, sales, reporting, and customer lifecycle activities
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and streamline reporting through AI-assisted processes and automation
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, marketing analytics, business operations, or a related role
- Experience managing or supporting paid advertising campaigns
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Experience building email marketing and lead nurture campaigns
- Strong research and data analysis capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Daily user of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar platforms
- Understanding of prompt engineering and AI-assisted workflows
Nice to have
- Background in SaaS, MarTech, AdTech, creator economy, affiliate marketing, or e-commerce environments
- Experience developing lead nurture programs, lifecycle marketing strategies, and marketing automation initiatives that improve engagement and conversion
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with sales teams to drive pipeline growth, account-based targeting, and revenue generation
- Experience translating complex marketing, sales, and revenue data into executive-level reporting and actionable business insights
- Familiarity with workflow automation and process optimization using tools such as Zapier, Make, N8N, or similar platforms
Compensation Range
We offer a starting salary of $70,000 - $90,000 CAD
Total compensation includes salary, bonus, benefits, and additional perks.
