Tow Motor Driver

We are hiring on behalf of our client. As a Tow Motor Operator, you will be performing a variety of production-related tasks:

• Operate a tow motor to pull, lift, stack, tier, or move product, equipment, or bulk materials in the respective department with the primary responsibility to service production employees.
• Complete daily forklift checklist.
• Continually watch for other workers and take all precautions to ensure worker safety.
• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure the forklift is operating properly.
• Keep parts properly grouped together in plant aisles.
• Keep work area organized to minimize hazards.
• Ensure part baskets are set in a safe and sturdy manner.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to continual improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Tow motor certification.
• Strong attendance record.
• Ability to read shop orders and identify parts needed.
• Recognize parts by their name and identification numbers.
