Production Supervisor

Our client is a growing injection molding company within the packaging industry. This position is an addition to their team, signifying their continued growth.

Immediate Vacancy

• Salary: $75K to $85K with benefits upon start
• RRSP match upon completion of 3-month probationary period
• Quarterly bonus upon completion of 3-month probationary period
• 2 weeks vacation
• Weekly Wednesday staff lunch
• Team events and outings

Shift:

• Continental Shift: 7 am to 7 pm / 7 pm to 7 am (2-week rotation)

Your Experience Brings:

• 2 to 3 years of Production Supervisor experience focused on daily workflow based on production needs
• Strong ability to train, lead, and develop a team of 30+ employees
• Safety-minded with a preventative mindset
• Experience in 5S and Lean Manufacturing
• Counterbalance forklift and crane experience (an asset)
• Proficiency in MS Dynamics and Excel

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the smooth and timely flow of production to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer
• Maintain a high level of plant, machine, and personnel safety under GMP and SOP guidelines
• Manage, train, and develop a productive, efficient, and competent Molding Production Team to achieve scheduled requirements in a safe, team-based environment
• Establish and ensure the achievement of performance targets
• Report and communicate results, incidents, and issues in a concise and timely manner
• Lead operations in Continuous Improvement initiatives, such as 5S and Lean Manufacturing
• Follow and comply with proprietary management system
