We are in search of the next addition Regional Sales Manager, Atlantic to a phenomenal sales team.
Our client is the largest disaster restoration network in Canada. They provide unsurpassed emergency response, restoration and reconstruction services to the insurance industry, residential, commercial and industrial customers. With coast-to-coast coverage and 24/7 emergency service, we offer a wide range of services that remediate conditions caused by fires, floods, winds, mould, environmental hazards, other accidents at any type of facility.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Looking for a self-starter entrepreneurial sales manager in the insurance or property restoration industry. You will be in charge of working with and developing new business insurance carriers in all Maritimes. You are someone who builds relationships quickly and easily with clients and understands the art of the consultative sale. You aren't afraid to close business and help your clients reach their goals.
Skills/Requirements- 3+ years' experience in consultative sales is required, preferably in the insurance or property restoration industry
- Strong self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced, competitive environment
- Exceptional communication skills: written, verbal and presentation
- "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial attitude
- High attention to detail and a focus on fact-based decision making
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Office applications, Web conferencing tools and experience with common presentation and account management software
- Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to accounts assigned.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with insurance carriers and new business partners
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
- Work regionally with existing named accounts to identify additional sales opportunities by cross/up selling services.
- Develop plans to promote our client's services according to named account's needs and decision-making process.
- Maintain high degree of account maintenance activity and communication with all named accounts (i.e. schedule regular meetings with customer).
- Ensure that named accounts' expectations of DKI Canada are communicated throughout the organization and region
- Identify account opportunities according to objectives outlined in National / Regional Plan.
- Managing the complete business development lifecycle from lead generation through to opportunity qualification, presentation, price negotiation and close
- Build a sales pipeline to ensure sales targets are achieved and where possible, exceeded
- Develop and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
- Adhere to sales process and provide accurate reporting to management using CRM.
- Participate in Regional and National Sales meetings
- Manage day to day sales activity
- Detailed knowledge of the service offerings and competitive environment
- Identifying and reporting on marketing opportunities
- Provide monthly territory updates including forecasting
- Other tasks and duties as assigned by management
- Work with Regional Members to develop and implement an annual Marketing Plan and budget
- Stay up to date of changes and trends within the industry including customers and competition
- Supervise the Marketing Plan and maintain expenses within budget
- Attend trade shows, seminars, regional meetings at the direction of management.
- Promote and co-ordinate attendance at trade shows, seminars, regional meetings
- Research and secure regional speaking opportunities where possible.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver training courses as required, according to the National / Regional Plan.
- Assistance with RFI / RFP relating to Regional / National proposals.
- Submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports at the direction of management.
- Attend national marketing committee and annual members meetings
- Document all sales activity and success in closing key account opportunities
- Utilize reporting tools to provide reports to clients as needed or directed or to members to support delivery of objectives and performance targets
- Must meet the company's monthly and quarterly targets and KPI's
