Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers, helping them understand vehicle maintenance and repair needs while ensuring a positive service experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs.
• Schedule appointments and manage service workflow.
• Prepare repair orders and accurately document customer concerns.
• Communicate vehicle inspection findings and repair recommendations.
• Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
• Obtain customer authorization for repairs.
• Coordinate with technicians to monitor repair progress.
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
• Process invoices and payments upon service completion.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and follow-up communications.
• Maintain accurate records and customer information.
• Support shop operations and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, or customer service professional is Must.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance services.
• Ability to explain technical information in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with computer systems and shop management software (Mitchel 1 Teamwork).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
