THE ROLE

As an Urban Saw Operator, you will be working in a medium-sized warehouse, operating specialized saws. This is a great temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a mid-size facility for a reputable and family-owned company in the construction and skid industry. You will be working in a team environment on the day shift. This is a growing company that is very busy right now. This position is located in Smithville, NOT on a bus route.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating urban saws to cut materials
• Sorting and preparing materials for cutting
• Reading blueprints to accurately cut materials according to project specifications
• Maintaining the saw and ensuring all equipment is in proper working order
• Working closely with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
• Performing general warehouse duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience as a machine operator, particularly with saws
• familiarity with tablets and other tech is a plus
• Production work experience with an understanding of process flow
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
