Compensation: $35.00–$48.00/hour (based on experience) + quarterly performance bonus + benefits

About the Opportunity:

A well-established automotive stamping manufacturer in the Windsor area is seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician to join its maintenance team. This is a permanent, full-time role supporting high-volume automotive production in a modern, fast-paced facility running advanced manufacturing technology and high-level robotics. The position became available through an internal promotion — a reflection of the company's strong culture of promoting from within. An excellent opportunity for a skilled, self-motivated electrician who thrives in a technology-forward environment and wants long-term growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide preventative and reactive maintenance across the facility, ensuring machines and equipment operate safely and efficiently
  • Safely install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical machinery and equipment
  • Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems — hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, drives, bearings, and gears
  • Improve electrical processes to minimize production downtime and disruption
  • Read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics to support troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems
  • Troubleshoot and support high-level robotic systems and PLCs
  • Participate in continuous improvement through thorough documentation
  • Support maintenance projects during scheduled downtime, including weekends and holidays when required

What You Bring (Required):

  • 442A or 309A Electrician License (mandatory)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Industrial electrical experience (strongly preferred over residential)
  • Ability/certification to operate an aerial lift
  • Ability to learn and retain robot programming and PLC knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with robotic systems / automation lines
  • Exposure to laser welding or other advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution

Why It's a Great Opportunity:

  • Cutting-edge technology and high-level robotics throughout the facility
  • Company-sponsored training, including robotics training
  • Quarterly performance bonus program
  • Strong internal promotion culture with clear paths for advancement
  • Excellent benefits package
  • Backed by a financially strong organization investing in its Canadian operations

Schedule: Shift work; 6-day production model with mandatory overtime/weekends as required for maintenance
