Transloader - Diesel

Summary:

This full-time position will require the successful candidate to fulfill product transfer and switching orders in accordance with company policy and safety regulations in all related physical inventory management and quality control activities in the safest, most efficient way possible.

Main Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:

Including but not limited to:

• Loading and unloading of goods to and from railcars, locomotives and trailers, tidying yard, etc.
• Switching railcars via track unit or ground.
• Use of forklift, track mobile, gantries, trucks and other equipment.
  
• Driving loaded truck/trailers to deliver fuel to locomotives.

• Inventory responsibilities

• Abiding by yard rules, safety regulations and PPE requirements
• Accurately completing all required paperwork
• Abide by terminals processes and procedures relating to product transfers, quality assurance, safety and operations.
• Complete required training and certifications necessary to perform duties safely and effectively.

Candidate Profile:

• High school or GED equivalent
  
• MUSThave valid drivers license and hold a class 1 or 3 license with air brake.
• 
  Experience operating commercial trucks and trailers in an industrial, transportation, or logistics environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in a rail yard or outdoor environment.
• Equipment operation experience considered an asset (Track Mobile, Forklift, Front-End Loader, or Crane).
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to complete required paperwork, inspections, and inventory records accurately.
