What You'll Do: Depending on your assigned area, you will:
- Lead daily warehouse activities including order picking, put away, or returns processing
- Ensure:
- Orders are picked accurately and on time
- Inventory is stored efficiently within target timelines
- Returns are processed and completed
- Monitor team performance (productivity, accuracy, workflow)
- Conduct floor walks, quality checks, and audits
- Supervise, coach, and support a team of warehouse associates
- Train new hires and support ongoing development
- Lead daily huddles to review priorities, goals, and updates
- Manage schedules, breaks, and staffing needs
- Coordinate workflow to ensure smooth movement of product through the facility
- Help balance labour across departments during peak periods
- Support standardized processes and training documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Resolve discrepancies, damages, or non-scannable items
- Maintain clean separation and organization of inventory and returns
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse
- Enforce WorkSafe and company safety policies
- Participate in safety programs and initiatives
- Track and report key metrics such as productivity, accuracy, and operational performance
- Communicate updates, challenges, and wins to leadership
- Must be willing to work as a member of a team and be flexible in undertaking a variety of duties that will contribute to the success of the organization.
- The ability to be organized, multitask, and solve problems.
- Experience working in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
- Look for any unsafe practices or work areas and report them to a Safety Committee member.
- Keep current with product knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Order picking / fulfillment
- Inventory / put away
- Returns processing
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse systems
