About Us

K-POP FRIENDS is a specialty retail store dedicated to bringing the latest K-pop albums, official merchandise, collectibles, and fan experiences to Calgary.

We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly team members who are passionate about customer service and enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Customer service and sales
• Operating the POS system and processing transactions
• Stocking shelves and maintaining merchandise displays
• Inventory management and receiving shipments
• Keeping the store clean, organized, and visually appealing
• Assisting customers with product inquiries and recommendations
• Supporting store promotions and special events
• General day-to-day store operations

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience
• Interest in K-pop, Korean culture, or entertainment products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Weekend and holiday availability is preferred
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Korean language proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) is highly preferred

Additional Asset

• Experience with Instagram, TikTok, or other social media platforms
• Ability to create content, take photos/videos, or assist with social media marketing
• Basic graphic design or content creation skills are an asset

We are looking for motivated individuals who want to be part of our founding team and grow alongside the company as we build something exciting together.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected Hours: 15–40 hours per week

Language: English (required)
Korean (is an asset but not required)

Wage : $16 ~ 20/hour (depending on experience)
