We are looking for a reliable and motivated Line Cook who is passionate about food preparation and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations while consistently delivering excellent food and service standards.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and hotel standards.
Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and supplies before service.
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are consistently maintained.
Assist with meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events as required.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
Monitor food inventory and report shortages to the Kitchen Supervisor or Chef.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products following proper procedures.
Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
Support waste reduction and cost-control initiatives.
Assist with cleaning and closing duties at the end of each shift.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Line Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 1 year of culinary or line cook experience preferred.
Culinary training or certification is considered an asset.
Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
Certification required: Smart Serve / Food Safety.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements.
Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment with varying temperatures.
Additional Requirements
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
