Full time Drill Press Machine Operator

Our client is a designer and manufacturer of value-priced products for the entertainment and event lighting industry. Location: Queensway E Cawthra

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate shop equipment including manual shear, drill press, grinders, sanders, table and miter saws, brake press, and routers
• Cut and shape materials accurately according to specifications
• Measure and inspect finished components using calipers, measuring tapes, and GO/NO-GO gauges
• Perform fabrication tasks to produce parts such as extrusions, boats, diffusers, and other components prior to assembly
• Build, maintain, and repair racking systems using hand and power tools
• Maintain and organize common tools inventory using SMI part numbers
• Complete daily production tasks efficiently while following safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Required Skills:

• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely
• Experience with soldering and assembling materials
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Experience Required:

• Experience using power tools
• Drill press operation
• General machine operation experience
