Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Ottawa, ON
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will support cloud infrastructure, modernization programs, and enterprise cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and support cloud infrastructure solutions across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
• Support cloud transformation initiatives for banking platforms, citizen services applications, OSS/BSS systems, and telecom platforms.
• Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure and shared services.
• Support telecom network operations, 5G services, and edge computing platforms.
• Implement monitoring, automation, resiliency, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, engineers, and security teams.
• Ensure compliance with governance, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive cloud scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Support enterprise cloud adoption and modernization programs.
• Promote cloud engineering best practices and standardization.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
• Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or telecom platforms.
• Strong experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies.
• Understanding of governance, compliance, privacy, and security requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and cloud-native services.
• Cloud certifications preferred.
