Job Title: DevOps Architect
Location: Toronto, ON
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced DevOps Architect with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will define enterprise DevOps strategies, automation frameworks, and platform engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design DevOps architecture solutions across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
• Support modernization initiatives for core banking systems, citizen services applications, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, and telecom services.
• Define CI/CD, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and platform engineering strategies.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams.
• Support telecom network services, customer platforms, and 5G environments.
• Implement DevSecOps, observability, and operational excellence capabilities.
• Drive cloud transformation and engineering modernization initiatives.
• Establish enterprise DevOps governance and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with governance, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote continuous delivery and automation-first principles.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a DevOps Architect within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
• Experience supporting banking systems, government applications, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, or telecom platforms.
• Strong expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation technologies.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of governance, compliance, privacy, and security requirements.
• Experience supporting enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Strong leadership and architecture design capabilities.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Cloud or DevOps architecture certifications preferred.
