Safety
Ensure safe work systems/procedures are always practised and adhered to ensuring duties are performed in a manner that minimises risk to self, employees, and contractors.
Maintain exemplary standard of housekeeping at all times, safe work, incident/accident reporting & active involvement in safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
Abide by and proactively comply with Company policies, procedures, guidelines, and systems, as well as all relevant legislation.
Understand and familiarise oneself with site Emergency evacuation procedures.
Company / Leadership
Display conduct which is aligned with company Core Values, Policies and Procedures.
Lead by example and actively participate to achieve department and company goals and objectives.
Initiate and provide input into company directives in collaboration with the Site Management team.
Communicate department obligations and conditions to the leadership team, ensuring specific understanding and accountability.
Behaviour / Attitude
Support and follow all lawful instructions/directives from direct supervisor.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and take responsibility for own conduct and behaviour in the workplace.
Ensure good, clear lines of communication between all stakeholders, including the Site Management team, co-workers and contractors
Knowledge / Skills / Duties
Manage multiple employee work and lodging schedules
Process all site entry applications and associated electronic and hard copies
Maintain mandays and prepare End-of-Month mandays report and any other EOM reports
Prepare Requisitions and Purchase Orders for the Underground operations
Collate and process Contractor timesheets
Order new employee uniforms, stationery, general consumables for site etc.
Maintain Master Key Register for the Underground operations.
Maintain current site Noticeboards
Enter site hazard and incident reports and actions into the pertinent site register
Undertake other assigned duties as lawfully instructed
Teamwork
Work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals both within own department and site wide.
Leverage the talent and knowledge within the team to resolve problems.
Follow instructions as per SOPs, guidelines and those provided by the Superintendent
Planning & Organisation
Prioritise and complete tasks accurately as to specifications as assigned by direct supervisor within required timeframes.
Proactively identify and address hazards before they arise as issues.
Be punctual to work and all required site meetings.
