Were looking for a reliable and proactive Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to support the day-to-day upkeep of our main office building and property, as well as our satellite locations. Responsibilities include maintenance, cleaning, and vendor and tenant coordination.
This role combines hands-on maintenance and cleaning work with scheduling and coordinating responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, responsible, resourceful, comfortable working independently, and takes pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and running efficiently.
This is a full-time position based primarily at our Winnipeg (St. Norbert) office and includes travel to our satellite locations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prioritize maintenance requests, perform minor maintenance tasks and coordinate larger repairs as needed.
- Ensure timely completion by scheduling and liaising with contractors, tradespeople, and vendors.
- Maintain regular cleaning and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Provide quotes & purchase building supplies, tools, and maintenance materials.
- Serve as the primary contact for long-term tenants and tenant-related matters.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for the on-site events centre and short-term rentals.
- Promote a safe work environment by monitoring for potential hazards, coordinating corrective actions, and supporting compliance with safety requirements.
- Provide maintenance and facility support to satellite office locations.
- Participate in after-hours emergency response when required.
- Other related duties as needed to help keep our offices safe, functional, and running smoothly.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Teams) is an asset.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
- Attentive to health and safety requirements and proactive in addressing potential risks.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work Environment: combination of indoor and outdoor work. The role includes regular movement throughout the property, including mechanical rooms, exterior grounds, parking areas, and outdoor maintenance spaces. Responsibilities include both coordination and hands-on maintenance tasks in varying weather conditions throughout the year. Exposure to dust, noise, cleaning products, tools, and other maintenance-related conditions should be expected.
- Physical Requirements: regular standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, lifting, shoveling, and performing light-to-moderate physical maintenance work. Must be able to safely lift and move equipment or materials up to 50 lbs.
- General Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (start time would likely be 6:30 a.m. or 7:30 a.m.). Hours may vary seasonally based on operational needs. Some duties, such as snow clearing, may occasionally be required outside regular office hours (8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). Regular hours will be discussed and set based on availability and operational needs.
- On-Call: includes on-call responsibilities for after-hours maintenance issues. Only necessary in cases of emergency.
- Travel: travel to/from satellite office locations is required. Additional travel may include vendor visits, supply runs, and occasional off-site meetings. Mileage is reimbursed at a set per-kilometre rate when a personal vehicle is used.
