Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support continuous production operations. Industrial Mechanic Millwrights are responsible for maintaining stationary industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
- Install, align, dismantle, and relocate industrial machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as required.
- Use precision measuring instruments and alignment tools.
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams.
Qualifications
- Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright License (required).
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with welding, rigging, and precision alignment is an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
