We are currently seeking anAssistant PartsManager to assist in leading our Dueck on Marine Parts Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong leadership skills and extensive parts knowledge to join a well-respected dealership group with a culture of teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
What Youll Do
As Assistant Parts Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations and profitability of the Parts Department. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating on building and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring the department operates at peak efficiency.
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels for maximum turnover, availability, and accuracy.
- Assisting in preparing, administering, and managing the annual operating budget for the department.
- Coordinating with Service, Sales, and Body Shop departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental operations.
- Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Assisting in leading regular team meetings and developing action plans to achieve department goals.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, company, and manufacturer guidelines.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an automotive parts department.
- General Motors (GM) experience is required
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, inventory systems, and dealership operations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven customer service focus with the ability to resolve issues constructively.
- Computer proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office.
- Valid BC Drivers License with a clean driving record.
