ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist in preparing divisional financial statements and management reports.
  • Support financial analysis and reporting for Finance and Operational teams.
  • Maintain reporting dashboards and business intelligence reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Accounting Transformation & Systems

  • Support process transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, standardization, and controls.
  • Assist with ERP enhancements, testing, and system implementations.
  • Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards, Power Query solutions, Lakehouse datasets, and reporting tools.
  • Contribute to project and job setup activities within the ERP system.

Process Improvement & Data Governance

  • Assist in improving accounting and reporting processes.
  • Support the standardization of cost codes and reporting structures.
  • Maintain process documentation and procedures.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks.

Risk Management & Controls

  • Maintain risk and control documentation for accounting processes.
  • Support reviews of internal controls and reporting processes.
  • Assist with compliance to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Participate in cost code reviews and standardization initiatives.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES

  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel user
  • PowerBI, Fabric, Power Query, Asana, Power Automate etc.

Financial Analysis & Insight

  • Ability to analyze financial statements, interpret results, and communicate implications.
  • Proficiency in identifying cost drivers, variances, and risks across multiple business units.

System Proficiency & Reporting Tools

  • Advanced knowledge of Dynamics, Yardi, Solver and Document Centers for data automation and reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage large data sets effectively.

Process & Risk Awareness

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and internal controls.
  • Ability to evaluate workflows, identify risk points, and implement structured improvements.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Cross-Divisional Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate and timely financial and variance reports for all core divisions.
  • Process & Tool Improvement: Enhance and maintain tools and systems that support financial reporting and automation.
  • Risk & Control Monitoring: Identify operational risks and support risk mitigation through structured analysis and reporting.
