RQ00672 - Technology Architect - Senior

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of solution architecture experience in a leadership capacity, gained in a complex technological environment, paired with post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Math (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  
• Demonstrated hands-on knowledge in solution architecture design and system integration, including but not limited to specification, configuration, and implementation.
  
• Knowledge and experience in Salesforce platform (experience cloud, service cloud, Agentforce etc) and related solutions.
  
• Knowledge and experience in industry popular web platforms and frameworks.
  
• Knowledge and experience in integration design through middleware/API.
  
• Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and manage client deliverables and expectations.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; Both technical and non-technical.
  
• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, knowledge articles, and deployment procedures.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  

Assignment of Duties

• Assess City's existing technology solution landscape and architecture, with a focus on public-facing digital solutions.
  
• Develop City's target public-facing solution architecture.
  
• Ensure architecture design aligns with business goals and objectives.
  
• Stakeholder management including communicating complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way, and consensus building
  

Deliverables

• Solution architecture design documentation.
  
• Presentations to project teams and stakeholders
