Position Title: Recycling Operations Associate

Location: Vancouver & Surrey, BC

Duration: 6-week contract with possible extension

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Work Arrangement: Onsite, with possible regional travel

Pay Rate: $30.00/hour CAD

About the Role

Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition is partnering with a growing Canadian recycling organization in the Lower Mainland. Our client is expanding operations and seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to support a short-term recycling project. This is an onsite role in a team-focused, safety-first environment. All training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day operations at designated recycling program sites
• Greet and assist program participants in a professional manner
• Accurately log program data using basic computer systems
• Verify items received and complete required documentation per standard operating procedures
• Follow all site safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
• Travel to regional sites within the Lower Mainland as required by the project schedule
• Perform light physical tasks associated with site operations

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Legally authorized to work in Canada, T4 eligible
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Basic computer skills for data entry and email
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team
• Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable with occasional regional travel
• Successful candidates must be eligible to pass a criminal background check as a condition of employment.
