Transportation Safety Manager
The Transportation Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure compliance with transportation regulations and to promote a culture of safety across all operations. This role focuses on minimizing risk, preventing accidents, and ensuring the safe movement of goods and personnel.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce transportation safety policies and procedures
• Monitor compliance with local, provincial/state, and federal regulations
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions
• Deliver safety training and education programs for drivers and staff
• Analyze safety data and prepare reports for leadership
• Collaborate with operations teams to improve safety performance

Requirements:

• Post Secondary in a related industry is an asset.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet safety management
• NSC and USDOT experience
• Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills

80-110,000 depending on experience.
