The Opportunity
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing operations across our Glencoe and Thamesville facilities. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes that improve safety, efficiency, quality, and overall production performance.
This position plays a key role in bridging product design and shop floor execution translating engineering concepts into practical, repeatable manufacturing methods that support production teams and operational goals.

The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of technical engineering capability and practical shop-floor experience, with the ability to drive meaningful process improvements across multiple areas of manufacturing operations.
What Youll Be Doing
- Design and implement manufacturing processes, layouts, and workflows that improve efficiency, safety, and product quality
- Develop and maintain process documentation including work instructions, routings, setup procedures, and manufacturing standards
- Partner with Product Engineering to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving throughput, and increasing operational consistency
- Evaluate and implement tooling, jigs, fixtures, and process improvements that enhance productivity and operator safety
- Support production teams through troubleshooting, process validation, and implementation of new manufacturing methods
- Collaborate with Process Planning to validate BOMs and manufacturing routings for accuracy and efficiency
- Work closely with Industrial Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Quality to identify and resolve operational inefficiencies
- Support commissioning and integration of new production equipment and machinery
- Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, ergonomics, and practical manufacturing execution in all process improvements
What Were Looking For
- Post-secondary education in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or industrial engineering role within a production environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, workflow optimization, production flow, and continuous improvement principles
- Experience developing and implementing manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and process documentation
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical and scalable process improvements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving capability within a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting production teams through process troubleshooting, implementation, and change management
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Planning, Maintenance, and Quality teams
- Experience with lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and production efficiency initiatives is considered an asset
- Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with manufacturing documentation, BOMs, routings, and process development
