We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team! Reporting to the Production Manager, the Welder will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, welding, and to ensure the plant is running smoothly, efficiently and safely. Qualifications: - Experience welding in a structural steel shop environment - CWB Welder MCAW/FCAW - Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment - Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment - Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines - Interpret welding process specifications - asset if proficient in CP welds and back gouging - Determine weldability of materials - Operate hoisting and lifting equipment - CWB ticket an asset Competencies: - Team player - Good understanding of metal fabrication - All position ticketed welder an asset - Ability to operate cranes KAY-SON offers a positive, team environment.
