We are looking for skilled workers with woodworking/carpentry experience to join our client's team as Wood Crate Assemblers. Pay: $25.00/hour Shift: - Training will take place in Mississauga starting immediately on the 6:00am-2:30pm shift - A portion of the work starting in June will take place in Markham on the 7:00am-3:30pm shift and then the remaining work will be in Mississauga - You must be able to work overtime as needed Note: You must be able to work in Mississauga for training and then work in Markham as needed. You will be paid travel for the distance between the Mississauga and Markham facilities. Responsibilities: - Measure, cut, and assemble wood pieces according to specifications - Operate hand tools and power tools such as nail guns, saws, and drills - Build shipping crates - Read work orders and follow packaging instructions - Secure strap products inside crates using bracing, foam, or protective materials - Other general labour duties as assigned Qualifications: - Experience with Woodworking/Carpentry (cutting, handling, nailing wood) - Experience with power tools (nail guns, saws, etc) - Experience using a measuring tape - High attention to detail - Able to do heavy lifting - Able to work in Mississauga for training and work in Markham as required - Able to work overtime - Must have steel toe safety shoes/boots and safety vest Apply now!
