Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC milling machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
- Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections using measuring instruments.
- Make program adjustments and tool offset changes as required.
- Monitor machine performance and maintain production targets.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend improvements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company quality and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of CNC milling experience.
- Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Ability to perform machine setups independently.
- Knowledge of Fanuc or similar CNC controls is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
