CNC Milling Machinist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC milling machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
• Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections using measuring instruments.
• Make program adjustments and tool offset changes as required.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain production targets.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend improvements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company quality and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of CNC milling experience.
• Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, and cutting parameters.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Ability to perform machine setups independently.
• Knowledge of Fanuc or similar CNC controls is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
